The QCU Medical Clinic has expanded its healthcare services by launching a telemedicine platform, allowing students and staff to consult with healthcare professionals remotely. The platform provides access to general practitioners, mental health counselors, and specialists through video consultations.
The telemedicine service is available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and can be accessed through the university's mobile application. The initiative was launched in response to the growing need for accessible healthcare services, particularly for students living in off-campus accommodations.
"Health and wellness are fundamental to academic success," said Dr. Roberto Santos, Head of the Medical Clinic. "By offering telemedicine services, we are ensuring that every member of the QCU community has convenient access to quality healthcare."
The clinic also introduced a mental health support hotline, providing confidential counseling services for students experiencing stress, anxiety, or other mental health concerns.
